Read the One-Act Play Crack the Pretty Armour by Julia Weisser

About the project

Crack the Pretty Armour is a one-act play by Julia Weisser, inspired by her research and interviews with former members of Toronto-based theatre company Creation 2 (1968-1977). It is, however, a work of fiction. Crack the Pretty Armour takes us back in time to the 70s and follows the story of a radical theatre company who sought to shake things up!

This project received financial support from the National Theatre School of Canada via the Art Apart program, an emergency fund for emerging artists who are affected by physical distancing due to coronavirus (COVID-19).
