Art Apart: If the World Ends Tell Lady Gaga I Loved Her
About the project
If the World Ends Tell Lady Gaga I Loved Her follows Davinder in self-isolation as he hosts a ‘live petition’ on YouTube as a response to Gaga postponing the release of her new album, Chromatica. In times like these, Davinder does not believe Gaga can afford to push back the release date of her new record as COVID-19 is threatening the existence of the world as we know it. This show will be a final attempt to save the world through a petition to Gaga herself to release her music. It will be a night of lip syncs, fake blood, melodrama, and pure queer desperation.
This project received financial support from the National Theatre School of Canada via the Art Apart program, an emergency fund for emerging artists who are affected by physical distancing due to coronavirus (COVID-19).
