Michelle Ramsay - Teaching Artist, Production Design & Technical Arts

Michelle Ramsay is a Toronto-based multi-award-winning lighting designer who works with dance, theatre and opera companies across Canada and around the world. She has designed for: Rossini Opera Festival, Stratford Festival, Opera Atelier, Soulpepper, Theatre New Brunswick, Soulpepper, Foo Productions, New Harlem, Shaw Festival, Cahoots Theatre Company, Blue Ceiling Dance, fu-GEN, The Theatre Centre, nightswimming, Factory Theatre, Theatre Rusticle, Tapestry Opera, National Arts Centre, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Native Earth Performing Arts, Mirvish Productions, Theatre Passe Muraille and Tarragon Theatre. She has received eight Dora Mavor Moore Awards, a SATAward and in 2008 she received the Pauline McGibbon Award.
