Scene Study is not for beginners, participants will need to have completely Acting Level II or receive special permission by the instructor in order to register
In Scene Study (Theatre III), participants will take all the techniques they have learned in creating characters, building relationships, connecting to emotions, and going after their objectives and put them all together into a performance. Throughout the session, participants will work on scenes in front of the acting teacher and fellow participants receiving specific constructive feedback to help them improve their craft and grow as an artist.
Levels I & II, are where participants learned exercises and built up their foundational skills, Level III: Scene Study is where they will put it all together.
The course will end with an open class to share some of what has been learned over the 8 weeks.

Jessica Abdallah is a Montreal-based director who has been bringing stories to life for over 20 years.
She is a graduate of John Abbott College’s Acting program, Concordia University’s Theatre & Development program and holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Alberta.
Directing credits include The One (Hopegrown), What Rough Beast (stage reading - Centaur Theatre), the French and English versions of TUMIT (Akpik Theatre), Sedna: Goddess of the Sea (Tableau D’Hôte Theatre), and Annie Mae’s Movement (UofA).
Jessica is Artistic Associate at Geordie Theatre where she also runs their successful Geordie Theatre School. A firm believer that everyone can benefit from a little theatre in their life, Jessica loves working with people of all ages, all backgrounds, and all experience levels.
