This intensive course is designed to introduce you to the art and craft of playwriting, and to help you develop your voice as a playwright. Throughout the course, you’ll learn about the elements of drama, hone your skills and create your own original work.
Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect to cover in this course:
We’ll work as theater artists do – as a collective, always supporting our fellow playwrights on this exciting adventure.
The course will end with an open class to share some of what has been learned over the 8 weeks.

Passionate father, artist and teacher with over 30 years of experience performing, teaching and directing. Farrell has taught in workshop environments, CEGEP and University. His goal is to help students discover their voice in the craft in a safe, challenging and inspiring setting.
Farrell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University’s Theater Department and attended The Neighborhood Playhouse In New York. He has been awarded at Mcgill University’s Drama Festival for Directing and The Lagace Achievement in The Arts from the New School of Dawson College.
