All of the students and resident artists of the National Theatre School, will take part in a one-time-only creation challenge. In teams, they will have only 24 hours to create 12 short scenes, each inspired by the Monument-National’s rich history. The Monument-National, one of Montreal’s historical and architectural jewels, turns 125 this year.
On the afternoon of September 30, 2018, come witness the end result of this enthralling creation marathon, consisting of two unique theatrical experiences that will take the public through the Monument-National’s public and secret spaces. This bold artistic project underlines the importance of art in the city and invites Montrealers to rediscover the amazing stories that inhabit one of Montreal’s most admirable buildings.
