Norah Paton is a theatre artist and leader based in Whitehorse, Yukon. Originally from Ottawa, and trained in Montreal and the UK, she now works as the Managing Artistic Producer for Nakai Theatre.
Norah’s practice spans a broad spectrum, working regularly as a collaborator, technician, producer and manager. She is deeply committed to fostering safer and more accessible artistic spaces, often working in harm reduction for events, and in community safety planning and training. She works across genres of live performance, mostly in small organizations and with a focus on working outside, or in unconventional spaces. Beyond producing and community building, Norah also creates and performs her own work.
Norah holds a BFA Theatre Performance from Concordia University and an MA in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
