In 2026, the NTS DramaFest marks a major milestone: 80 years of commitment to youth and theatre practice across the country.

Recognized as the largest youth theatre festival in Canada, DramaFest brings together more than 12,000 high school students and their teachers each year. It offers them unique opportunities to create, present their work, and fully experience theatre, in a spirit of discovery, collaboration, and personal growth.

For eight decades, the festival has played an essential role in the artistic development of young people by fostering expression, confidence, and teamwork. It also serves as an inspiring meeting point between schools, communities, and the theatre sector.

This large-scale project is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Molson Foundation, whose commitment helps promote theatre among new generations.
