Ric Knowles

Ric is University Professor Emeritus at the University of Guelph and has worked professionally as a director and dramaturge for almost 50 years at theatres ranging from Mulgrave Road to the Stratford Festival, most recently at the National Arts Centre, Soulpepper, Tarragon, Passe Muraiille, Tottering Biped, MT Space, and others.

He is the author or editor of 24 books on Theatre and Performance, and past editor of the journals Canadian Theatre Review, Theatre Journal, and Modern Drama, as well as two book series.
