As part of the 2025 Journées de la culture, Monument-National was transformed into a true creative laboratory with the National Theatre School of Canada’s (NTS) 24 Hours of Creation.

In just 24 hours, students conceive, write, rehearse, and perform original shows. A demanding constraint that becomes a powerful driver of inventiveness, collaboration, and risk-taking.

In this creative frenzy, ideas take shape at full speed, disciplines intersect, and intuitions assert themselves. What emerges from this intense process are bold, sensitive, and deeply alive works.
