Graduating with a degree in Acting from the École de théâtre du Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe in 2017, Émanuel has always been eager to create his own projects. Since graduating, he has had the opportunity to take part in several original productions for young audiences, including Le Scriptarium 2019, Le diable est dans les détails, Hégémonie d’un sexe perdu, and Top net.
Émanuel is also deeply interested in writing. His first play, Numéro 3, was presented as part of the 2017 Montréal Fringe Festival and was nominated for Best French Production. As a director, he revisited David Paquet’s 2h14 and presented a staged reading of Laurie Léveillé’s Comme un poison dans l’aube.
Whether through writing, directing, or acting, Émanuel strives to make art accessible. Above all, joy and a touch of madness remain his greatest creative driving forces.
