Sébastien David - Director of the Interprétation Program
A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Acting Program in 2006, Sébastien David has built an outstanding career over nearly two decades as an actor, playwright, and director. A leading figure in Quebec’s theatre scene, he is the author of several acclaimed works published by Leméac, including Dimanche napalm, which received the Governor General’s Literary Award, as well as Les haut-parleurs and Les morb(y)des, the latter having been presented in a staged reading at the Comédie-Française in Paris.
Artistic Director of his own theatre company, Motto, he also directed the critically and commercially successful production of Dead Poets Society at Théâtre Denise-Pelletier. Deeply committed to training the next generation of theatre artists, he has been teaching for several years, notably at his alma mater, the National Theatre School of Canada.
