Fanny Pagé - CEO

In her role as CEO of the National Theatre School of Canada (NTS), Fanny Pagé is deeply committed to the School’s mission: to provide incomparable training for artists from all backgrounds and in every area of theatre. Armed with a clear vision and steady determination, she’s playing a key role in redefining the School’s image and operating model, so that it remains relevant and fundamental to Canada’s cultural landscape.

Fanny joined the School in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and immediately gained recognition for her assertive leadership and ability to inspire and catalyze her team. As COO, she quickly achieved her goals thanks to her collaborative management style, creativity, passion and integrity. Following the departure of CEO Gideon Arthurs in 2022, she was the natural choice to succeed him and write the School’s next chapter.

Fanny Pagé is a visionary, caring and empathetic leader with 25 years’ experience in the performing arts. Before joining NTS, she built her career with Cirque du Soleil and Franco Dragone Entertainment Group, two of the most prolific performing arts companies. Her work with Cirque du Soleil took her all over the globe, where she developed her leadership and management skills. She helped set up the company’s talent acquisition team as well as lead the training and artist management departments and played a critical role in the production of Michael Jackson ONE and LUZIA, to name just two shows.

Fanny holds a Bachelor of Arts from Université de Montréal and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from McGill University. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Théâtre de la Ville de Longueuil. With her special combination of strategic vision and operational expertise, she’s definitely one to watch in the performing arts industry.
