Christopher is an actor, playwright and director and the artistic director of the Toronto-based theatre company Human Cargo. Some recent acting credits include The Breathing Hole (NAC), The Runner (Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Magnus Theatre), Measure for Measure, Much Ado About Nothing, Hedda Gabler, Botticelli in the Fire (Canadian Stage), A Doll’s House, Noises Off (Soulpepper), Oedipus Rex, Diary of Anne Frank (Stratford Festival), The Importance of Being Earnest, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Stuff Happens (NAC).
Past TV Credits include Painkiller, Orphan Black, Frankie Drake, The Girlfriend Experience, Murdoch Mysteries, Beyond Black Beauty, Mayday, In Contempt.
Christopher ‘s new play Shattered have been presented in French at Espace GO in 2023/24. He is currently creating a VR film with Inuit artists about Inuk artist Annie Pootoogook and Montreal’s Mirari Studio. He is also adapting his play The Runner into a TV show with Sienna Films and Spiro Films/Tel Aviv.
