Usher, Door Attendant and Coat Check Attendant

Do you love the energy of the performing arts and want to help welcome audiences to one of Montreal’s most iconic venues — the oldest operating theatre in Canada? The Monument-National is looking for dynamic and caring individuals to provide a warm, smooth, and safe experience for all audience members. As an usher, door attendant, or coat check attendant, you play a key role in ensuring that every performance runs smoothly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Welcome the public with professionalism and kindness;
  • Check tickets and guide audience members to their seats;
  • Provide assistance to people with reduced mobility or specific needs;
  • Manage the coat check service with care and efficiency;
  • Ensure that safety and behaviour guidelines are respected;
  • Help set up and tidy up spaces before and after events.

Ideal Profile

  • Ease in customer service ;
  • Neat appearance and professional attitude ;
  • Good physical condition (long periods of standing) ;
  • Team spirit, punctuality, and reliability ;
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts (important) ;
  • Fluency in French (English an asset).
