TEC – Groteska
— ABOUT THE PROJECT
Groteska is a theatre-dance piece where I will work on the writing and the exploration doing an artistic workshop next to women from the community organization of HLM Bienville in Longueuil that will nourish the writing of the piece.

Groteska is a theatre-dance piece discussing the reality of a street worker, an individual working with youth and marginalized people in neighborhoods of Longueuil and St. Hubert, and her encounters with women experiencing violence, sexual abuse, racism, poverty, and other invisibilized issues.
— BIOGRAPHY

Lorena Trigos (Set and costume design, 2015) is a set designer, costume designer, and pastry chef. She graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada and the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality of Quebec, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Mexico. Lorena lives in Montreal, Canada, where she works as a set and costume designer for various theatrical productions. In Brussels, during the Plan B laboratory, she completed a workshop on the creation and manipulation of puppets and masks. She is also the founder of Sin Palabras and is new to the world of pastry.
