Keltie Forsyth - Artistic Leadership Resident 2026

Keltie is the Artistic Director of Presentation House Theatre on the unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh and Səl̓ílwətaʔ Nations on Vancouver’s North Shore. She is a theatre director, instructor, producer, and administrator of settler ancestry. She holds an MFA in Theatre Directing from UBC and is a graduate of the University of Alberta Department of Drama and a participant in the 2013 Banff Centre’s Robbins Academy Professional Theatre Program.

Keltie began her career in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton) as General Manager of Workshop West Theatre and co-curator of their Canoe Theatre Festival. After completing her MFA at the University of British Columbia, Keltie worked as an arts manager, freelance director, instructor, grant writer, and Associate Artistic Director of Pi Theatre. She spent two years in London (UK) working a number of very strange jobs, including as a director and producer, but also as a casting assistant, ghostwriter, and podcast editor before returning to Vancouver in 2019.

Over the pandemic, she was lucky to be part of the community that tenants the creation space Progress Lab 1422, serving as the Operations Manager at Vancouver Creative Space Society before transitioning to the role of Director of Operations at the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, where she oversaw the 2023, 2024, and 2025 Festivals before transitioning into artistic leadership at Presentation House.
