Class Description
This intermediate course builds on the foundation of Acting Level 1, with a focus on scene work, character development, and the actor–audience connection. Participants will broaden their physical and vocal range, refine their impulses, and deepen their sense of play through more advanced improvisation and rehearsal techniques.
Classes include warm-ups, targeted exercises, and scene study, with a strong emphasis on ensemble collaboration. Expect to be on your feet, actively engaging with partners and the group. Self-directed rehearsal and reflective journaling will support the learning process.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained confidence and a grounded understanding of character and text. The final class will feature a public sharing of work-in-progress for invited guests.
Prerequisite: Acting Level 1 or equivalent foundational theatre training.
