About the play

On the eve of a royal wedding, four young Athenians flee into the forest in pursuit of true love. In the forest, the lovers fall again and again into love triangles, all while the fairy world of the forest enters into a conflict of its own.   In another part of the forest, hopeful players rehearsing for the upcoming wedding become entangled in all the hilarious drama.   In one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, we wait on the edge of our seat to see how it will all come to a happy end.
