Intense and demanding, the high level training of our professional programs is the pride of our institution. We are also opening our doors to more people by offering continuing education, artistic residencies and supporting the NTS Theatre Festival. Through these recent initiatives, we reach thousands of artists and audiences of all ages from coast to coast. By 2020, the School will reach over 10,000 theatre enthusiasts each year.

Development Office Administrative Assistant

Responsible for maintaining data and various giving programs in the database. The assistant will administer multiple direct mail projects, all donations processing, thank you letter generation, receipting, web data updates, data cleansing and manipulation, statistical reporting and analysis, mailing list management, and donor/prospect research and relationship management, meeting setting, moves management updates, event invitations, alumni career tracking, and other tasks.

Coordinator and Company Manager – English Section

Reporting to the Artistic Director of the English Section of NTS, the Coordinator and Company Manager - English Section will be responsible for coordinating and executing all administrative tasks pertaining to the English Section’s professional training programs. This resourceful, organized and creative individual will be the first administrative contact for the Section. They will work closely with the Program Directors, who run the professional training programs, as well as the Coordinator of the Acting Program and the English Section’s associate artists and full-time teaching artists. The successful applicant will also work closely with other departments and programs within the school, including the Student Services Office, the Department of External Relations and NTS’s administrative team, and maintain a close relationship with the Coordinator of the French Section to ensure consistency in services offered and procedures and methods adopted...

Redactor Specialized in Philanthropy

Reporting to the Director of External Relations (ER), this person is responsible for achieving objectives related to public and private fundraising activities. This person will lead research and write reports on selected strategies related to the National Theatre School of Canada's (NTS) public fundraising revenues (government grants), donation requests and sponsorship agreements.

As part of the Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage initiative, NTS would like to offer an employment opportunity to an individual who is completing an archival studies program. The internship’s duties are directly related to the fields of study: process and enhance our institution’s archives, develop archiving policies, draft grant applications.
