Nancy Benjamin - Voice Instructor

 

Nancy Benjamin is a voice, text, and dialect coach who has taught master classes, workshops, and coached productions for the Shaw Festival, Mirvish Productions, Access Acting Academy (Los Angeles), Calgary Opera’s Emerging Artists Programme, the NAC, Berkeley Repertory Theatre (California), California Shakespeare Festival, the Guthrie Theatre (Minneapolis), the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.) . She was an associate voice, text, and dialect coach for the Stratford Festival of Canada 2000-2021, co-head of voice and dialects for the American Conservatory Theater (San Francisco) 2009-2017, and a resident voice/text/dialects director for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 1993-1999.  

Directing credits include school tour productions for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, new work for Campo Santo Theatre in San Francisco, MFA productions for A.C.T. in San Francisco, and an online “radio” production for Access Acting Academy.
