Louise Jobin - Teaching Artist, Set & Costume Design

Louise Jobin has been working in the theatre, television and film industry since the mid-1960s. She has designed costumes for around 40 theatre productions. In 1966, she became the head costume designer at Radio-Canada. Since 1970, she has devoted herself primarily to film. She has created the costumes for more than 50 movies and contributed to numerous major Canadian and foreign productions. As of 1987, she has focused on artistic direction and visual design for various films and television series. She has also been involved in the labour movement and has shared her knowledge and extensive experience by mentoring and teaching at the National Theatre School since 1994 as well as at INIS, where she was a founding member. She has won many awards throughout her career.
