Elen Ewing - Teaching Artist, Set and Costume Design

Elen is a graduate of Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe’s theatre school and has a bachelor’s degree in Art History from UQAM. For the past several years, she has carved out a prominent place for herself in Montreal’s theatre world as a set, costume and accessory designer. Her recent creations include the designs for Les Hardings, (stage direction by Alexia Bürger), Nos ghettos (stage direction by Jean-François Nadeau and Stéfan Boucher), L’idiot (stage direction by Catherine Vidal), Les larmes amères by Petra von Kant (stage direction by Félix-Antoine Boutin), SOIFS Matériaux (stage direction by Denis Marleau and Stéphanie Jasmin) and Les corps avalés (choreography by Virginie Brunelle).
