Fiona Byrne - Teaching Acting

Fiona Byrne has been an actor for twenty-five years. Over the past ten years, she has also been teaching, coaching, directing, and mentoring artists. She has worked in theatres across the country, as well as in film and television. For the past eighteen seasons, she has been a member of the acting ensemble at the Shaw Festival.

Her accolades include a Dora Award for A Doll’s House (DvxT/Canadian Stage) and the Mary Savidge Award (Stratford Festival). She is an instructor at the National Theatre School of Canada, the Shaw Festival, and other institutions.

She is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
