Shipwright<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Shipwright<\/span> est une exposition narrative qui combine sculpture et performance pour \u00e9voquer le pass\u00e9 de la construction navale de l’\u00cele-du-Prince-\u00c9douard.
Le public est invit\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre une tasse de th\u00e9 au centre communautaire de Riverview et \u00e0 voir un chantier naval de <\/span>l’\u00ce.-<\/span>P.-\u00c9., avec une flotte de navires construits par l’artisan local Vernon <\/span>Corney<\/span> dans leur premi\u00e8re exposition publique. Chaque jour, l’espace est occup\u00e9 par un couple de charpentiers de marine. Ils travaillent et chantent, dorment et mangent, jouent du banjo et font leurs corv\u00e9es, le tout pour \u00e9voquer la m\u00e9moire sensorielle de l’\u00e2ge de la voile \u00e0 <\/span>l’\u00ce.-<\/span>P.-<\/span>\u00c9..

Patrick Jeffrey est un cr\u00e9ateur de th\u00e9\u00e2tre qui a grandi \u00e0 Epekwitk (\u00ce.-P.-\u00c9.). Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l’\u00c9cole nationale de th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Canada, il a jou\u00e9 dans des compagnies comme Repercussion (Montr\u00e9al), Sweetline (St. John’s), The Atlantic Repertory Company (Saint John) et Confederation Players (Charlottetown).<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Il produit ses propres pi\u00e8ces par l’entremise de sa compagnie de th\u00e9\u00e2tre Caveman Lovechild, et a r\u00e9cemment pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une nouvelle pi\u00e8ce, The Breakthrough<\/em>, au Tableau D’H\u00f4te \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.
