The Mixed-Arts Performance Partnership Program<\/strong>
<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Mixed-Arts Performance Partnership Program,<\/em> combine cette curiosit\u00e9 pour l’innovation th\u00e9\u00e2trale avec les comp\u00e9tences de Chelsea en mati\u00e8re d’engagement communautaire et de facilitation. Le Mixed-Arts Performance Partnership Program (MAAP) est un programme num\u00e9rique de 14 semaines qui associe des \u00ab\u00a0jeunes\u00a0\u00bb (15-29 ans) sans abri ou mal log\u00e9s, en qu\u00eate d’\u00e9quit\u00e9, \u00e0 des artistes mentors dans quatre disciplines bas\u00e9es sur la performance : le th\u00e9\u00e2tre, le <\/span>spoken<\/span>–<\/span> <\/span>word<\/span>, l’art de la performance num\u00e9rique et la drague. Les participants s’engageront dans un atelier de groupe en ligne pour chaque discipline, puis choisiront deux des disciplines pour recevoir un mentorat en ligne <\/span>1:<\/span>1 r\u00e9current dans le but de cr\u00e9er une pi\u00e8ce de performance de 10 \u00e0 20 minutes.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Chelsea Woolley est une dramaturge dont les \u0153uvres comprennent : <\/span>Enormity<\/span><\/em>, Girl and<\/em> the <\/em><\/span>Earthquake<\/span> in Her <\/span>Lungs<\/span><\/em> (<\/span>Nightwood<\/span> <\/span>Theatre’s<\/span> <\/span>Groundswell<\/span> Festival), The <\/em><\/span>Mountain<\/span><\/em> (<\/span>Geordie<\/span> Productions, <\/span>Spinning<\/span> Dot <\/span>Theatre<\/span>), et <\/span>These<\/span> <\/span>Peaceable<\/span> <\/span>Kingdoms<\/span><\/em> (New <\/span>Words<\/span> Festival).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Le travail de Chelsea s\u2019est vu r\u00e9compens\u00e9 par plusieurs prix notamment : <\/span>Tarragon<\/span> <\/span>Theatre’s<\/span> RBC <\/span>Emerging<\/span> <\/span>Playwright<\/span> (2019), The <\/span>Playwright<\/span> <\/span>Guild<\/span> of <\/span>Canada’s<\/span> <\/span>SureFire<\/span> List, The Ellen Ross Stuart <\/span>Opening<\/span> Doors <\/span>Award<\/span>, et le Toronto Fringe New Play Contest.
<\/span><\/span>Elle a particip\u00e9 au Banff <\/span>Playwright’s<\/span> <\/span>Lab<\/span> et au National New Play <\/span>Network’s<\/span> MFA <\/span>Playwright’s<\/span> Workshop au Kennedy Centre \u00e0 Washington DC.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

En tant qu’animatrice artistique, Chelsea a travaill\u00e9 avec le Toronto Boys and Girls Club, le <\/span>Harbourfront<\/span> Centre, le Crows <\/span>Theatre<\/span>, le Scarborough Arts Centre, le Young <\/span>People’s<\/span> <\/span>Theatre<\/span> et Project Humanity. Chelsea est la cr\u00e9atrice et la directrice d’un programme pour les jeunes au Red <\/span>Door<\/span> Shelter o\u00f9, le printemps dernier, elle a co\u00e9crit avec huit adolescents une pi\u00e8ce intitul\u00e9e One Day<\/em>. Chelsea est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e du programme d’\u00e9criture dramatique de l’\u00c9cole nationale de th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Canada. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
