\u2014 ABOUT THE PROJECT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Great Big Northern Story Experiment is a two-week creation piece aimed at gathering the stories of our small rural town in BC, and telling them through theatre. Overall, it\u2019s a project that will be led by theatre professionals, but created and staged by the community\u2019s youth (kids aged 8-14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eryn Griffith<\/strong> is a lighting designer and production manager. She is currently the Director of Production at the\u202fGlobe Theatre<\/strong>\u202fin Regina Saskatchewan. Eryn is a graduate of NTS, holds an MFA in Production Design from the University of Victoria and a BFA in Theatre Design from Concordia University. Hand in hand with being a theatre artist, Eryn is an entrepreneur. She built, owned and ran two thriving businesses, a coffee shop hosting artistic events in the community and a clothing store featuring sustainable and Canadian brands in Terrace BC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has worked as an art gallery coordinator, interior designer, design instructor and theatre manager. Recent lighting design credits include\u202fThe Inspector,\u202fGut Girls,\u202fLes Liaisons Dangereuses\u202fand\u202fSummer and Smoke\u202fat the\u202fPhoenix Theatre\u202fin Victoria, BC,\u202fThe Caretaker\u202fand\u202fRed Hot Cole\u202fat\u202fBluebridge Theatre\u202fin Victoria, BC,\u202fJackie\u202fand\u202fKiss of the Spiderwoman\u202fat the\u202fNational Theatre School of Canada,\u202fIrma Vepp\u202fat\u202fLac Brome Theatre\u202fand\u202fGracie\u202fand\u202fExit Pursued by A Bear\u202fat the\u202fGlobe Theatre.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
