Changing Room<\/em>, an original monologue exploring non-binary gender <span class=\"TextRun SCXW178422388 BCX7\" lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW178422388 BCX7\">and an exploration of dysphoria in an entirely private world, and <span class=\"SpellingError SCXW178422388 BCX7\">performitivity<\/span> of gender in the absence of an audience, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW178422388 BCX7\" lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW178422388 BCX7\"><em>Smashcut: Int. Changing Room<\/em><\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW178422388 BCX7\" lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW178422388 BCX7\"> is re-tooled to be shot in Fanny Dvorkin&#8217;s apartment with an additional consideration and focus on the current isolation caused by the COVID-19 crisis.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/><span><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>This project received financial support from the National Theatre School of Canada via the <a href=\"\/\/ent-nts.ca\/en\/art-apart-artistic-works\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Art Apart program<\/a>, an emergency fund for emerging artists who are affected by physical distancing due to coronavirus (COVID-19).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the artist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ent-nts.ca\/app\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Fanny_Dvorkin_Vignette.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" sizes=\"(max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" data-w=\"318\" data-h=\"262\" data-r=\"1.2137404580153\" \/><\/p>\n<figure id=\"fig_bnk_i_4311\" contenteditable=\"false\"> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/ent-nts.ca\/app\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Julia-Weisser_Vignette.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" alt=\"\" data-w=\"318\" data-h=\"262\" data-r=\"1.2137404580153\" \/> <\/figure>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong>Fanny Dvorkin<\/strong> is a 29 year old actor and writer\/poet. Having previously studied Literatures in English both at Concordia and York in the UK, she now resides in Montreal with her wife and dog.
