She will lead workshop participants through story boarding, writing, and basic coding using the interactive program TWINE. <\/p>\n<p>Writers will develop characters and craft multiple plot lines for a reader to choose from, as well as learn how to add other interactive components. Although engaging for anyone, this workshop would be perfect for beginner writers and coders between the ages of 12 and 17.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>This project received financial support from the National Theatre School of Canada via the<a href=\"\/\/ent-nts.ca\/en\/art-apart-artistic-works\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Art Apart program<\/a>, an emergency fund for emerging artists who are affected by physical distancing due to coronavirus (COVID-19).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ent-nts.ca\/app\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Write-your-Own-Adventure-Photo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" height=\"362\" width=\"655\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1647px) 100vw, 1647px\" data-w=\"1647\" data-h=\"888\" data-r=\"1.8547297297297\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><\/strong><strong>About the artist<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> <\/span><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ent-nts.ca\/app\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Chelsey-Wooley_Vignette.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" sizes=\"(max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" data-w=\"318\" data-h=\"262\" data-r=\"1.2137404580153\" \/><\/h2>\n<p><span><strong>Chelsea Woolley (Playwriting, 2017)<\/strong> is a playwright whose work includes: <em>Enormity, Girl, and the Earthquake in Her Lungs <\/em>(Nightwood Theatre\u2019s Groundswell Festival), <em>The Mountain <\/em>(Geordie Productions, Spinning Dot Theatre), and <em>These Peaceable Kingdoms <\/em>(New Words Festival). <\/span>Chelsea\u2019s <span>work has been recognized through a number of awards including: Tarragon Theatre\u2019s RBC Emerging Playwright (2019), The Playwright Guild of Canada\u2019s SureFire List, The Ellen Ross Stuart Opening Doors Award, and the Toronto Fringe New Play Contest. She has attended the Banff Playwright\u2019s Lab and the National New Play Network\u2019s MFA Playwright\u2019s Workshop at the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. As an arts facilitator, Chelsea has worked with the Toronto Boys and Girls Club, the Harbourfront Centre, Crows Theatre, Scarborough Arts Centre, Young People\u2019s Theatre, and Project Humanity.
