I&#8217;d like to provide those with a new abundance of free time the opportunity to learn about Indigenous Canada, and to celebrate it with others.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>This project received financial support from the National Theatre School of Canada via the <a href=\"\/\/ent-nts.ca\/en\/art-apart-artistic-works\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Art Apart program<\/a>, an emergency fund for emerging artists who are affected by physical distancing due to coronavirus (COVID-19).<\/p>\n<p><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>About the artist<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ent-nts.ca\/app\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Hailey-Verbonac_Vignette-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"\" sizes=\"(max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" data-w=\"318\" data-h=\"262\" data-r=\"1.2137404580153\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Apihtaw Toussaint<\/strong> is a <\/span>2nd-year student in Production Design and Technical Arts at NTS from Inuvik, NT. Currently stranded in Montreal due to the NT&#8217;s closed borders. He&#8217;s an aspiring lighting designer and a hobby painter.
