His play <em>7 stories<\/em> premiered in 1989 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadiantheatre.com\/dict.pl?term=Arts%20Club%20Theatre\">Arts Club Theatre<\/a> in Vancouver.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>7) Be bowled over by <strong>Philip Akin&#8217;s<\/strong> direction. Akin co-founded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.obsidiantheatre.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Obsidian Theatre<\/a> in 2000. Two years later, he also founded the Obsidian Mentor\/Apprentice Program, a unique program that has helped 61 young Black artists launch their careers as directors, writers, lighting designers, and costume designers in renowned companies around the world.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/329588517866393\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">7 Stories will be presented by NTS<\/a> at the Ludger-Duvernay Theatre from <strong>December 10 to 15, 2018<\/strong>.
