Synopsis

As global catastrophe looms, tech billionaire Tyrell Want announces a plan to save humanity: using state of the art AI, he has created a virtual reality held in a satellite database floating among the stars. On the day of his upload, Tyrell and his devoted assistant Gideon attempt to keep his reputation afloat as online chaos and environmental concerns threaten to corrupt the stability of his perfect system. SYCOPHANT is a trans-futurist satire on human progress, shared madness, and what it means to truly change the world.
