About the Play

Everybody comes to Constantine’s – a bar at the end of the world.  As an apocalyptic ‘Midnight’ hits time zones across the planet, an eclectic collection of people gather in Montreal (the last bastion of the bilingual) in the hopes of finding a way out.  Inspired by classic cinema, current doomsday politics, and the ramifications of hope in hopeless times, this collective creation is a dark farce about what happens when the ‘usual suspects’ are the last ones left on earth.
