Join the NTS family as we explore the joy of ensemble singing through many styles and genres. We believe that choir is a great way to stretch your creative muscles, lift your spirits, meet new people, and have fun all while working towards a common artistic goal.
The community choir is bilingual.

Kate Markle is a vocalist and composer who has had the delight in working with musicians of all ages from a variety of different musical backgrounds.
While they are currently completing their Bachelor of Education in Music from McGill University, Kate also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Composition from Concordia University, a degree in philosophy and a registered yoga teacher’s certification. Kate has sung in many choirs throughout their life and also has experience in Rock, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Opera.
As a teacher and facilitator, Kate teaches privately and has had the opportunity to program and teach music, composition and puppetry at the YMCA-Concordia Fine Arts Camp for the past three summers. As a graduate of the Music For People's Leadership program, They also facilitate community musical improvisation sessions for all ages. With experience in performing, teaching, conducting, directing and composing both on stage and on screen, Kate has seen the power music can have and believes that absolutely everyone is musical.
